Unknown Base System Device

Hello, I recently replaced my hard drive, and had my windows version updated from Windows 7 Home premium to windows 7 ultimate. I went to the sony website to try and hunt down the driver. But it lists a bunch of drivers. I know its not my video card because I already managed to reinstall that. On the device manager it is just this last unknown device. I hope that this information helps
PCI bus 3, device 0, function
Any help would be appreciated. I would really like to know what this device is.
Also, I went to get Sony's 15 minute support but they said that this was complicated because it would require a manual extraction of the files. Is this true because I updated the OS?
